Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-07-27T11:12Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-07-27T11:12:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: S12W30
Active Region Number: 13762
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
L: Loop
Note: Faint CME visible to the NW in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and the N/NE in STEREO A COR2. The CME is partially obscured by the instrument pylon in SOHO LASCO C3. The source may be the M2.0 flare from AR 3762, with dimming visible starting at 2024-07-27T10:34Z in GOES SUVI 284. It is also visible in SDO AIA 193 and STEREO A EUV 195. A filament liftoff is visible on the NW limb in GOES SUVI 304 starting at 2024-07-27T09:44Z, however based on the location of this CME from the point of view of STEREO A, this is not a likely source candidate for the CME.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
